IQAir
What we came up with
We used data from state and federal publications, local air quality management departments, the EPA, and the American Lung Association to assess the current and projected future air quality in several cities throughout the U.S. Acknowledging that not everyone is familiar with air quality terminology (we certainly weren't!), we broke down the information in a way that is easily digestible, no matter how much prior knowledge you have on air quality. We highlighted the impact of things like traffic, factories, construction, climate change and wildfires, to give specific insight into how and why air quality fluctuates in that city. Our hope is to help promote awareness of air quality issues throughout the United States, and to help those who suffer from things like asthma, respiratory and cardiovascular conditions to be better equipped with the information they need to take precautions to safeguard themselves when air quality reaches unhealthy and unsafe levels.
Below are a few examples of our work for IQAir.
